Description: Anchor Brewing Company opened in 1886 in Dobbs Ferry NY which is located just north of the Bronx & Yonkers. As Anchor grew in popularity and expanded they opened up a New York City branch on the West Side of Manhattan in what is now the Hudson Yards and adjacent to the Jacob Javits Center.
