Description: Charles L. Spoehrer was a Weiss style brewery located in the Kips Bay / Gramercy park neighborhood of Manhattan. Little could be found about the company other than the family connection to his better known relative/family member Herman Spoehrer who also operated at this address along with others. Herman Spoehrer started out in 1875 and remained in business until 1905. Chas. Spoehrer was only in business 3 years or so which may explain the lack of information.
