Description: This was a beer bottler located on the Lower East Side in NYC. The bottle can be found listed in Antique Beer Bottles of Old New York (Guest, 2004) which references the fact that in addition to beer bottling and liquor businesses Nathan Putter also appeared in directories as feather dealer prior to 1890.

This is the one variation I have seen of the Nathan Putter bottle. It is embossed with the company name, address and “Extra Beer”
