Description: This brewery was founded by brother’s Philip & William Ebling in 1868 and was located in the Morrisania section of the Bronx. After several name changes the brewery became “The Ebling Brewing Co.” in 1901. The company survived prohibition and ended up finally closing in 1950 when larger national brands of beer became more predominant.
